From the outside looking in, it’s been both heartbreaking and inspiring to witness Jana Kramer’s public life. In the wake of the announcement that she and husband Michael Caussin had separated amid allegations of his infidelity, she dazzled fans with an impressive run on the hit TV series “Dancing With the Stars.” Even when news broke of her tumultuous and abusive relationship with her first husband, the late Michael Gambino, while she was competing on the show, she delivered emotional and incredible routines week after week.

Meanwhile, she also took to her role as a mom to precious daughter Jolie, sharing photos of the baby’s first steps, her affinity for music and other milestone events with fans on social media.

Through it all, as far as we know, Jana never publicly mentioned divorce, and was often pictured with a small band on her left ring finger. And to our knowledge, she also never spoke publicly in a derogatory manner about her estranged husband.

Mother Theresa said, “If really want to love, we must learn to forgive.”

Whether Jana has an impressive capacity for forgiveness or didn’t have anything to forgive is unknown, but it appears that she and Michael are spending more time together and it looks extremely amicable.

In a July 29 post on her Instagram page, Jana shares a family photo of herself, Jolie and Michael,  er arm resting on Michael’s knee. She writes, “Park mornings with our girl #ModernFamily #DayByDay.”

And fans are delighted. In the comments, some observe that both Jana and Michael are wearing rings on their left hands.Others remark on the bright smiles on all four faces — yes, it even looks like their puppy is happy.

No official statement has been made regarding a reunion, but is it really necessary? Whatever the definition of their relationship, and whatever the future holds, they seem supportive of each other and supportive of their daughter.

Besides, everyone gets to define their own “happily ever after,” don’t they?
