There is a major misconception that the movie “To Joey, With Love” is simply a movie about death. Just ask anyone who has been lucky enough to see the movie thus far, and they will tell you that this is a movie about life.

It’s a movie about an amazingly touching love story between Joey and Rory Feek, two country superstars who decided to take some time off from the bright spotlight of stardom to have a child, Indiana. This movie is about the precious time they spent loving and raising Indiana, while dealing with the very personal tragedy of Joey’s cancer diagnosis.

While portions of the movie are filled with IVs, surgical masks and moments that tear your heart in two, more of the scenes are similar to the one shared on Joey+Rory’s Facebook page.

The sheer love between a mother and her daughter is on display in the scene, which shows the tender moment between Joey and Indiana on Indiana’s first birthday. “What’s out there?” Joey asks Indiana as they look outside to see a ground covered with snow and ice.

And for a moment, movie watchers see not a woman dealing with cervical cancer or a woman facing the end of her life, but instead, see the beauty of life.
