Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani sure know how to keep their love going strong even when they’re miles and miles away from each other.

And, it’s such an inspiration!

On Aug. 27, Blake headlined a show at the Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa as part of the Back Porch Revival benefit concert, which aids a charity called The Native Fund. But, one special guest was missing from the audience that night. And, that, of course, was Gwen.

The No Doubt frontwoman was away in Fresno, California for her This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour. But, she found a creative way to show support for her main squeeze even though there was distance between them.

Gwen played the part of Blake’s biggest fan showering him with love and emojis through an app called Periscope. And, it’s so adorable!

After cheering on Blake from Fresno, Gwen and pals celebrated with a round of yummy Jell-O shots. And, it appears as though Gwen is a newbie to the alcohol-infused dessert.

“I don’t know, but they made these. They’re called Jell-O shots. Have you seen those?” asked Gwen. “I don’t even drink, but I’m going to try it!”

We’re so glad that Gwen was able to enjoy her time away from Blake since the two have become pretty inseparable. The couple’s been working hard to stay connected while Gwen’s out on tour. In fact, Blake’s already popped in on several of Gwen’s shows to join her in singing their heartfelt duet, “Go Ahead And Break My Heart.”

On Sept. 9, Blake will hit the road for the fall leg of his own tour supporting his latest album, “If I’m Honest.” And, we can only assume that Gwen will make some surprise appearances on a few stops.

“I know that if she comes out to one of my shows I think she’d be open to doing it again,” Blake said in an interview with Extra regarding Shefani’s duet, “I’m not too proud to beg.”
