While the rest of us were doing the slow roll into Turkey Day, sipping coffee in our pajamas until we were conscious enough to pop the bird into the oven, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood were over the river, through the woods and dressed in real clothes for a special performance on the Thanksgiving Day edition of “Good Morning America.”

Country music’s power couple had actually pre-recorded their duet, but it wasn’t any less magical as they harmonized on the soaring ballad “Whiskey to Wine” from Garth’s album, “Gunslinger,” which came out Nov. 25. One thing you can’t miss is the incredible love and chemistry this couple shares as they gaze into each other’s eyes tenderly, but when the camera pulls back… is Ms. Yearwood barefoot? It appears that she kicked off her high heels to serenade her husband. Hey, works for us!

With the turkey in the oven and our coffee cup filled for the third time, we saw that Garth had shared a special Thanksgiving greeting made up of all of the things that you are grateful for! Just a few days earlier, Garth and Trisha had asked their Twitter followers to share photos of what they’re thankful for. Those photos and messages were turned into this sweet and sentimental video on the couple’s respective pages.

Later in the evening, while we were rubbing our pumpkin pie-filled bellies, the couple returned to ABC to kick off “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration.”Garth looked super handsome in a black hat and suit coat, jeans and violet shirt, and Trisha was simply breathtaking in a black gown with sparkling sleeves and a chic wavy ponytail that bounced as they sang “Marshmallow World.” They returned later in the show for a swinging, sexy rendition of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” then Garth took the stage alone for his new original holiday tune “Ugly Christmas Sweater.”
