Since the country music baby boom began, we’ve seen some fun, some breathtaking and some soul-stirring photos of the parents anticipating the arrival of their newbies. But Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, have shared a picture that also reminds us how naturally beautiful pregnancy is.
And a little bit sexy, too.
The black-and-white picture is filled with incredibly artistic contrasts. With both parents-to-be topless, the immediate response is that the image is sexy, however, Hayley is modestly covering herself while Tyler cradles her pregnant tummy and their tender expressions make the image as sweet as it is sexy. The contrast between Tyler’s rock-hard six-pack and Hayley’s burgeoning baby bump also provides a stark, yet warm contradiction.
It is, quite simply, beautiful.
More importantly, in the caption Tyler reveals that their baby girl is expected to arrive in three weeks, which makes her a Christmas baby. It also makes her just three weeks younger than Jason and Brittany Aldean’s little boy, Memphis, who made his debut on Dec. 1, and about a month younger than Brantley and Amber Gilbert’s son, Barrett, who was born Nov. 11.
If the stork is too busy, maybe Santa can help deliver babies this holiday season. Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and his wife, Kelli, are expecting their second child, a girl, in December, and Rodney Atkins and wife Rose Falcon are also expecting a little boy named Ryder very soon.
Baby New Year will ring in a whole new crop of country music youngsters in 2018 with Eric and Jessie James Decker welcoming their third child together and both Chris and Morgane Stapleton and Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scotty and husband Chris Tyrrell each expecting sets of twins.
And because we just don’t have enough reasons to celebrate our favorite country stars, we also have weddings galore, including the upcoming nuptials of Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans, Scotty McCreery and Gabi Dugal, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Kane Brown and Katelyn Jae, Colton Swan and Caroline Glaser, Chase Bryant and Kourtney Keller, and Kid Rock and Audrey Berry.
At a time when the world is filled with so much negativity, it sure is nice to celebrate some of the joys in life, isn’t it? And, you know, all of those weddings bells ringing could mean that a new baby boom could follow.
We aren’t mad about it.
