And that looks to be the case currently, as it was announced on August 2 on the Verizon Arena Facebook page that the two country superstars are cancelling their August 3 “Soul 2 Soul: The World Tour” show at the venue in North Little Rock, Arkansas. “Tim and Faith adore their fans and are so sorry to disappoint them,” reads the notice.

Faith has apparently been put on two days of doctor-prescribed vocal rest, but she and Tim will carry on with their Aug. 4 show in Nashville.

Of course, fans quickly aired their disappointment on social media, with many expressing their sadness over the superstar couple cancelling the show outright rather than rescheduling the date to later this year. And while we can understand fans’ disappointment, there is no doubt that these two would much rather be onstage in front of their fans than resting Faith’s miraculous voice.

We wish Faith a full recovery!
