The Dixie Chicks often make a quick impression on people, including tourmate Elle King. But what Elle recently said about the country trio seems to have everyone talking.

“I had no idea how much my face would be melted by how badass they are, because seriously they are,” Elle said in a recent interview shared on the Dixie Chicks Facebook page. “They’ll f**king kick your teeth in.”

“I’m learning probably the most that I’ve ever learned from this tour,” Elle continued. “I literally sit side stage for the Dixie Chicks and its just been so amazing and has opened my mind so much to see such strong women. They get up onstage every night and they speak their minds and they don’t back down. They are not afraid of anyone.”

Heck, even a power outage doesn’t even faze them.

“One night of the tour the power was blown and I had my in-ears in and I listened to how the crew spoke to them onstage and how Natalie (Maines) just handled it like such a pro,” Elle said. “She didn’t let it faze her.”

It seems as if nothing fazes them, and that’s why their fans love them so much.
