It’s always fascinating to get a peek inside the homes of country stars, especially when we can see how they went from humble beginnings to luxury. We know Dolly Parton started out in a tiny frame house in East Tennessee as a child, and we know she has more than one residence now, but what about in between?

According to the website Patch, a home that belonged to Dolly Parton and husband Carl Dean between 1980 and 1996 is now up for sale. So, we went to the real estate website Realtor.com and got a look inside.

It’s safe to say that the home, which currently operates as an AirBnB, has gone through a bit of a transformation, but the nearly 5,000 square foot house nestled in a cozy, gated neighborhood just south of Nashville still boasts some of its original characteristics.

Built in 1941, the four bedroom, three bath house sits on a 2.4 acre lot, which is quite significant for the residential area. The home appears to have a livable attic space with a separate outside entrance, and there also seems to be a detached building that looks like the perfect party barn.

The asking price for this sweet setup is $1.2 million. Yikes! Considering that the median home price in that area of Nashville is $229,900, this might be a deal for the serious Dolly Parton fan only.

Wonder how much Dolly and Carl paid?
