As fans of the Outdoor Channel hunting show “Crush with Lee and Tiffany” were still getting used to the news that star Tiffany Lakosky was undergoing treatment for cancer, they received more horrible news on Aug. 19 that could just about break anyone’s heart.

Cancer had struck again.

“In reading all of your heartfelt messages, we are awe-struck at how many people cancer has affected,” the show’s hosts, Tiffany and husband Lee, wrote in a Facebook post. “And sadly, it has hit close to home again. Our … producer Jeff Lovan’s wife, Bree Lovan, has been diagnosed with leukemia at the young age of 26. She is currently undergoing a brave battle with chemo, and we know with God’s grace, the support and prayers of loved ones and a spirit like no other, she will beat this! Bree has often recited a phrase that Jeff’s dad has said to her from the very beginning: ‘Bree, you were 25, you are 26, and you will be 27!’ To keep her inspired, her prayer army has been posting a No. 27 in different places throughout the country. Bree, here is your No. 27. It will be with us every day as we head out on our western hunting tour so that you will always be with us and remember.”

In a special “Bree’s Journey” FB page, family members continue to update friends and fans on Bree’s condition, which turned very serious on Aug. 21. “What an emotional roller coaster we’ve been on the last 24 hours,” the post stated. “After Bree was admitted to the ICU yesterday morning, she was very unstable.”
We pray that both of these young women stay strong in the days that lie ahead.
