We’ve been collecting pregnancy announcements and gender reveals like charms on a charm bracelet since late last year, and while we’ve welcomed a few of those little nuggets into the world, it’s about time for a rush on country star childbirth. And it looks like Ashley Monroe has kicked things off in fine fashion.

Ashley shared the big news on her Instagram page Aug. 4 that she and husband, pro baseball player John Danks, have welcomed their baby boy to the family.

Ashley has been mostly quiet on social media regarding her pregnancy, although she did share a photo of her bikini’d bump during her gender reveal back in March. And while she didn’t give any details regarding Dalton’s birth weight or length, even back then she said “It’s a BABY BOY!! A big one I have a feeling.”

In the series of photos that Ashley shares, including one of John holding Dalton and another of the new family, the baby boy looks like a good armful. And that skin! Beautiful!

In June, Ashley also announced that she was working on another baby, a new album. More recently, best pal Miranda Lambert has mentioned that their group, Pistol Annies, could be recording again soon too, so sheer business could be the reason that we haven’t heard much from Ashley until now.

Workin' on my other baby. Can not WAIT to share this album with you all. Whew. Heart is so full. 🙌🏼❤️ 📷: @bfluke
