The world just met Chris Stapleton in the most perfect of ways.

Alongside fellow Tennessee boy Justin Timberlake, Stapleton tore into the song “Tennessee Whiskey,” a song off his current album “Traveller” and a remake of George Jones 1983 hit. And just about the time we thought the performance couldn’t get better, it did when Timberlake took the lead with his song “Drink You Away.”

And all the recognition being thrown at Stapleton is so darn deserved.

“Traveller” entered the Billboard Country Albums Chart at No. 2 and Top 15 on Billboard’s Top 200 with over 27,000 albums sold making it the best-selling first week by a debut country artist in 2015.  Traveller is also one of the Top 10 best first week country debuts in the last five years. And yes, “Traveller” has been one of the most talked about albums of the year.
