It was 2008, and some of today’s biggest country music stars looked like babies as they performed “Life in a Northern Town” on the stage of the CMT Music Awards.

Jimi Westbrook from Little Big Town looked a tad scared. Jake Owen still had really long hair.

And the duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush known worldwide as Sugarland looked confident and amazing as ever.

Fast forward nine years, and Little Big Town is one of the top vocal groups in town, Owen has cut his hair much to the horror of his female fandom and Nettles is now busy with a solo career and an impressive career on Broadway.

But don’t you worry about Kristian.

Bush is currently preparing for the April 2015 release of his highly anticipated debut solo album “Southern Gravity”, which has already spawned the hit “Trailer Hitch.”

“I love this album,” Bush recently told Rolling Stone Country during an exclusive interview. “The songs on SOUTHERN GRAVITY feel like home to me, and I am proud and excited to share them, finally. They are your stories as much as they are mine, and I hope you hear yourself in here, no matter if you are standing up, falling down, or dancing in between the pieces of your life.”
