According to PEOPLE, it was announced on Oct. 18 that Gwen has signed on to return for season 12 of the hit show. But, don’t assume that there will be five red chairs spinning around. Instead, Gwen will take the place of Miley Cyrus. She will be appearing alongside beau Blake, veteran judge Adam Levine and current newbie Alicia Keys.

“We can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake and Adam will bring to season 12,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment.

Gwen, of course, is no stranger to “The Voice,” having appeared on three different seasons. Blake divorced Miranda Lambert back in July 2015, and Gwen parted ways with Gavin Rossdale a month later.
