Many country stars give a good bit of credit to their family churches for their first experiences with music. And while we don’t know specifically about Randy Houser’s religions upbringing, we would assume his faith is strong with songs like “Back to God” and “In God’s Time” in his catalog. That and the fact that he and his wife, Tatiana, have taught their pup to pray over his kibble.

In a new video clip on his Instagram page, Randy can be heard saying grace while the couple’s two-year-old goldendoodle, Hawk, puts his head on his paws in prayer. After the doggie daddy says “amen,” Hawk slowly rises and calmly walks to his dish.

To be fair, this isn’t the only human trait that Hawk Houser exhibits.

Tatiana is quite a horsewoman who trains and competes in jumping classes when she isn’t busy studying holistic nutrition. Apparently, Hawk spends a good bit of time at the stables when mom is riding her prized pony, Camo. And it appears he might want a pony of his own.

Hey, why not?

Randy does have a human son, West, from a previous relationship, and he’s equally proud of his accomplishments. Most recently, West started school this year. And is it just us or does he look a lot like his daddy?

Proud of this little man! Starts school Monday.

Oh, and if “Back to God” sounds familiar to you, remember, it’s Reba’s most recent single from her “Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope” album.
