NASCAR driver Landon Cassill has had much on his mind as of late, as it was recently announced that he had been dropped by his Front Row Motorsports team in 2018.

“It’s definitely tough,” Landon said in a recent interview. “But I’ve been through this before and it seems my work ethic and my ability to work with these teams has always kind of carried me. I don’t plan on that changing.”

Yet, despite the obvious scary career news, God found a way to make sure Landon and their family kept their priorities in order – He gave them a new baby girl.

Landon and wife Katie welcomed their second child October 16, announcing the happy news via a flood of pictures of their new little one on October 17. Daphne Mayola Cassill now joins her big brother Beckham in the Cassill household. “She had a very peaceful first night, but does have the voice to keep us honest,” Landon said in his Instagram post. “This is the good news we’ve been waiting for!”

Landon also headed to Twitter to share his excitement. “Wow! A girl! Well worth the wait. Daphne Plum Mayola Cassill. Healthy and hungry. Beckham retains his title. This trumps everything else.”

We wish the entire beautiful family all the best. Enjoy every moment!
