The recent Thanksgiving weekend gave many country artists a much-deserved break from the road and the stage, and allowed them to spend some time with those that they love the most at home. Yet, for one country artist in particular, this nice little holiday break resulted in an unscheduled visit to the doctor.

“My brother thought it was a good idea to pop my shoulder over Thanksgiving,” Chase recently told Rare Country about his injury, which he shared a sad pic of on his Instagram page on Nov. 25. “Let’s just say he’s no chiropractor. Couple dinged up nerves, but I’ll be back for this week’s shows!”

Indeed, it’s good to know that Chase, who got engaged to girlfriend and music video co-star Kourtney Kellar back in September, will be back for a full slate of shows this week despite the guitar slinger’s injury. Want to catch him live and share some get well wishes? Chase is scheduled to play in Tennessee on Nov. 29, California on Nov. 30 and Texas on Dec. 2. A little too far for your liking? Give a listen to his latest single, “Hell If I Know,” which serves as the worthy follow-up to his prior hits, “Take It on Back” and “Little Bit of You.”
