Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, are expecting their first child together, and they spent the past few months thinking they were having a boy.
Now, it turns out the blood test was wrong and they’re actually having a little girl. It’s a good thing they haven’t gone out and bought a bunch of blue stuff yet.
Gods got jokes……After thinking we are having a boy for the last few months, turns out the blood test was wrong and we're actually having a little girl. Woe… so many emotions but really really excited about this next chapter even if God does like throwing us a curve ball every now and then. Just keeping us on our toes. #daddysgirl
We caught up with Tyler earlier this week, and he tells Rare Country they haven’t gotten very far decorating the nursery just yet.
Tyler says, “We’re in the process. We at least know which room it’s going to be. We’re kind of taking our time, but knowing it’s going to be here before we know it. So, trying to prepare a little bit.”
Tyler and Hayley’s little one will arrive in about four months, in the middle of a veritable baby bonanza in country music. Their friends Thomas Rhett and wife, Lauren, and Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, are also expecting babies. It’s cool for Tyler to think his little girl will have some playmates in Music City.
“It definitely seems like perfect timing,” Tyler says. “To have friends and people that we’re close to also having kids and just have somebody we can relate to and connect with and hang out on the playgrounds [with]. I think you’re going to see all of us country music singers walking around the parks here pretty soon with our strollers, so get ready for that.”
On the music side, FGL just released the trippy video for their latest single, “Smooth.” Check it out here.
