A lot of attention is paid to what the ladies in country music are wearing for red carpet events. Will it be short or long? Satin or velvet? Lace or fringe? Sequins or rhinestones … or both? Meanwhile, the fellas, who can look oh-so debonair, often walk the red rug with a bit less fanfare.

Until now.

Country hunks Dustin Lynch and Jon Pardi are taking us behind the dressing room curtain to get a glimpse of what happens when two of the genre’s most eligible young bachelors get red carpet-ready for one of country’s biggest nights—the CMA Awards.

And if you know anything about these two, it isn’t all that serious.

Except for the hat. For a formal event, Jon — dressed in nothing but a black robe and his signature topper — insists that black felt is the only thing that will do. No straw hats here!

Both of these gentlemen chose full suits to reflect their respect for the significance of this year’s CMA Awards. Dustin wore a shimmering silver three-piece suit with a bow tie, and Jon, who is traditionally dressed in designer-to-the-stars Manuel, was in his signature embroidered and embellished dark suit with a gray shirt and tie. And both embodied the look of the classic country star in dark hats.

And it about takes your breath away. God bless country music, and long live cowboys!
