It’s good to be Thomas Rhett. His first successful headlining tour, a No. 1 album debut for “Life Changes,” and two No. 1 singles (so far!) from that album. And he added not one, but two beautiful daughters to his family. It’s a lot for anyone to process.

And let’s not forget the three nominations he had going into the Nov. 8 CMA Awards — Male Vocalist, Music Event and Music Video of the Year. It’s no wonder that his performance of “Unforgettable” wasn’t just electric, it was kind of unforgettable.

Taking the stage in a red shirt with white polka dots and a black satin baseball jacket, it’s almost as if T-Rhett was recreating one of the magical moments on his “Home Team Tour.” Heck, his guitar strap even reminded us that it’s good to be part of the “Home Team.”

It could have been nerve-wracking performing that early in the show and having so many nominations coming up, but if he was nervous, it sure didn’t show! Thomas bounced and grinned throughout the entire performance, but then again, that may have been because his beautiful wife, Lauren, was in the front row flashing that dazzling smile at him.

We hope he headlines again next year! That’s a ticket we’ll be buying!
