It was more than just a night of country music and awards. This year’s CMA Awards had an underlying theme of hope, harmony and family. Many of the stars referenced the shootings in Las Vegas, and their hopes of moving forward from that tragedy, and many spoke about the family that is country music. And Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and Chris Stapleton’s wife and music partner, Morgane, captured it all in one precious photo.

In case you didn’t know, both Hillary and Morgane are expecting twins in the spring. And come on, y’all, it’s hard to get more hopeful than babies. When it comes to families, well, they’re adding to their respective broods big time.

So, belly-to-belly, arms around each other, amidst the chaos of the backstage, rootsy country Morgane, in a flowing, boho gown, and pop country Hillary, in a classic little black dress, embraced for a photo.

Motherhood never looked so beautiful.

Hillary shared the picture on her Instagram page and captioned it with a sweet sentiment. “It’s still hard to fathom that there are SIX PEOPLE in this photo,” she wrote. “@morganwithane you are a glowing beauty with those two sweet babies in your belly, and I’m so thankful for the gift of walking this twin journey with you.”

Congratulations to Morgane and Chris, and Hillary and her husband Chris on their abundance of blessings.
