Keith Urban gave 100 percent at his performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 2, in Las Vegas.

Keith’s performance was a mashup of his two most recent monster hits, “Blue Ain’t Your Color” and “The Fighter.” Set to look like black-and-white film with just a few strategically placed pops of blue, Keith delivered a tender and heartfelt rendition of an abbreviated version of “Blue.”

Then, as quickly as the wind switched in Vegas, the Aussie country superstar began picking out the super recognizable opening of “The Fighter.” With a lighting change that punched up the energy, Keith kicked into the uptempo anthem for love and, on cue, Carrie Underwood appeared behind him, silhouetted in the flashing lights.

Keith was having such a great time at the ACM Awards, he lost himself in the lyric for a moment. In the second verse, as he sang, “Look in the mirror, you’re beautiful, so beautiful,” he looked at the artist who he has said is like a sister to him and said, “You really are!”

And Carrie, who always seems to set the bar high for having fun in concert, was working every strand of the glittering fringe dress she wore.

Actually, there was someone that was having at least as much fun as Keith and Carrie at the show. Mrs. Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, sang and danced in the aisle with her pal, Faith Hill.
